Julia Luvenia Simmons

My great-great grandmother Julia Simmons is someone I will never meet, but is high on my list of people I'd have to dinner. In her 93 years, she saw the advent of the film, the talkie, the car, radio, television, the airplane, indoor plumbing, birth control, and countless other things that did not exist at the beginning of her life, but that were taken for granted by the end of it.

Welcome to Buttercup's Family Roots! I have put together this Web site as a result of initial research undertaken over the past few years. My goal is to not only have a centralized resource for my research, but to share it more easily with others! I also hope this will serve as a tool for folks to share their information with others.

There is more to a family tree than just names, birth dates and death dates. With each year that passes, we're losing our family stories. There are pictures, articles, and other documents that are lost or just not known that can fill holes in our family histories. But they'll remain lost unless they are easily accessible. We're all in this together! I hope you'll join us!

I know there are mistakes on this site, and would appreciate any corrections with sources from all of the lines included. I hope you find what you are looking for. If you need more information about anyone in the database or any documents or images posted - or have some information that might help me or others working on these lines in our research, please contact me . And don't forget to sign the GuestBook!

The site is definitely moving along!

The Gedcom is up. The documents section is installed, as is the photo gallery.

Now, the task of uploading my docs and images. Slowly but surely, they're getting up. They can be found in the photo and doc sections, and are also linked to the actual people in the people section. I also need to expand the links section.
